City location. Non-Driver. Smoker maybe OK. No males. No couples. Age 21+. Fair-Good English. Own bathroom. No pets. Very nice, single father, professional family with one boy of 9 years. We have placed three au pairs with whs family who have been very happy The new au pair would be able to speak to her for a reference if wished. The Dad works as a consultant, specialising in politics. He works away from home sometimes, so it is very important for the au pair to be flexible. He has a girlfriend, but they do not live together and the au pair would need to be comfortable in the context of a single father family. The family live in a nice part of the city of Coventry which has a fast train service running regularly to all major cities in the UK as well as an excellent bus service. Birmingham is 15 minutes, London is 1 hour. The family have a cleaner each week and the Dad helps a lot with childcare and tidying – so the au pair is needed for up to 25 hours per week and hours can be a little flexible. There are good language courses in Coventry and of course it is a city, so there is a lot on offer for au pairs. Salary and working hours: 25 hours/£75. To start September – 6-12 months. Ref. S_Hall
